You will generally fall into one of two categories when selecting color - Cool or Warm. Mineral makeup is very forgiving in that it reflects or bends light due to the mica and titanium dioxide ingredients that are in our formulas.

ILLUSTRE ESSENZA Organic Natural Minerals Makeup also blends with your skin's natural oils. One color may work with a skin tone one shade above or below.

To choose the perfect shade, first determine which of the two categories best describe your skin tone, then decide if you are fair, medium or dark for that category.

ILLUSTRE ESSENZA QUICK TIP: Another quick way to discover which undertone your skin has is to remove your makeup and then grab a pure white towel. Go into natural lighting and take a mirror with you. Hold the towel next to your face. If your skin looks more yellow then you have warm undertones. If you skin looks more pink then you have cool undertones. If you can’t determine your color, stick to neutral shades.
